If you are planning to travel abroad or to roam the whole world for free seafaring career is one that suits you. The Maritime Academy of Asia and the Pacific (What is MAAP?) is offering a scholarship grant for those students who are qualified to their requirements.

MAAP is designed to be a world-class maritime academy that is equipped with state of the art facilities that is perfect for students who want to pursue a seafaring career. MAAP offers scholarship grants in Maritime Transportation and Marine Engineering which is accredited by CHED.

Qualification Requirements:
* Male or female, Single
* Filipino Citizen
* Physically fit
* Morally upright and has no derogatory record
* Age 17 and not more than 23 years on March 31 of the year of admission
* Eligible applicants must be any one of the following:
           - High School Graduate from School Year 2014-2015 backwards
           - College Level
           - Passer of the Alternative Learning System (ALS) Program regulated by DepEd and                          therefore certified eligible for admission to college/tertiary level
           - A senior High School student expected to graduate at the end of
             School Year 2016-2017
* Minimum height of 5 ft. 4 in. (162.5cm) for MALE and 5 ft. 2 in. (157.5cm) for FEMALE        applicants
* Must be a Hugh School Graduated with a GPA of at least 83%
* Has never been officially admitted at MAAP
